Our School

Barnby Road County Primary School caters for children aged between three and eleven years old. The school was opened January 1984 and was formed from the Barnby Road Junior School and the Barnby Road Infants School. We moved to our fantastic new site and new building, designed by teachers and children in October 2007.

The school has grown since 1984 where there were 160 children. There are now approximately 310 children plus our 40 place nursery. We have eleven classrooms, a state of the art Foundation unit, a hall, fitted I.C.T. suite, two libraries, year six girls changing room, wonderful foyers and workspaces. It's a circular building with a real heart.
