As part of our topic ‘Down at the Bottom of the Garden’, we went on an outing to Whisby Nature Park. We learnt all about insects and how to identify them and then put this knowledge into practise by going bug hunting, one of us even caught a dragonfly! We had a great time making fairy houses and using nature to create ‘Wild Art’ pictures. A highlight was a visit from a police car and the children even got to have a go sitting in it! The children loved their trip and were extremely tired on the way back to school!
