Hello Year 6,

For Year 6's online learning, the teachers have set up an exciting forum called Showbie. On here we will be posting lots of online learning for you to complete. We have been working very hard to find and create lessons that match what we would have been teaching in school. All the grown-ups have now been emailed their child’s log in details. On Showbie, you can access weblinks, download resources and upload your own work for the teachers to give feedback on.  With the log in details, an overview of how to use Showbie created by the teachers was sent. It is also available as a PDF on here.

Every day we will be setting Maths work, English work and two other lessons to keep you entertained and busy. These will all be on Showbie. We expect all children to access the learning on here and upload what they have done in the day. These activities should not be rushed.

Don’t forget about the Purple Mash blog too. This should be used  to ask the teachers for any support you may need, whether that be with the work or logging in and ask any questions you have.

Your grown-ups can always email us too with any questions or queries and we will endeavour to get back to you swiftly, within school hours.

We have been working hard to make this run as smoothly as possible. This is new for all of us, so there may be a few teething problems – please bear with us, we are trying our best!
