Tony Roberts - Community Governor
I have lived in Newark for over 40 years and for 38 of those taught at the Magnus School. After retirement in 2008 I was 'persuaded' to come and help out at Barnby Road. I have been coming regularly, well trying, for a session a week since my retirement. My interest for the school led to me becoming a Trustee and more recently a Governor of the school. I have been a local Councillor and Newark Mayor, and I now have a regular slot presenting on Newark Radio. I am proud to play a small part in the continuing success of this outstanding school.
