Barnby Road has a supervised afterschool club which is managed by the school.  Our Afterschool Club operates every day during term time, from the end of the school day until 6:00 PM, and is held in the Small Hall. Children can be collected any time up to 6:00 PM from the door accessed via the front playground.

During the session, children are offered a healthy tea/snack, which may include items such as wraps, fruit, breadsticks, and more. A range of fun activities are provided, as well as a designated homework area.

Parents must complete an Afterschool Club Agreement, available from the school office or copy can be found below. This ensures that staff have up-to-date contact details, medical information, and allergy requirements for each child.

Nursery, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children are collected directly from their classrooms by Afterschool Club staff.  Key Stage 2 children (Years 3–6) are expected to make their own way to the club after school.

Bookings should be made via the school office, and we strongly encourage parents to book in advance. You can book regular days each week or on an ad hoc basis.  Please note: Due to high demand, same-day bookings are not guaranteed and will only be considered based on availability.

The cost is £7.00 per session, per child.  Charges are added to your ParentPay account the day after your child attends.
