Summer Term

After the excitement of our Year 3 play last term, Year 3 are now hard at work in the classrooms! This term we will be learning about the Vikings and we will be visiting Murton Viking Village near York. This is an excellent immersive learning experience where the children dress and live as a Viking would have. The Willow and Beech classes also have their Pizza Express visits this term. In Maths, we are currently learning about fractions. In English, we have been debating whether cats or dogs make the best pets and are beginning to read 'Erik the Viking.' We are also investigating light and shadows in Science and will be growing plants later in the term.
