Autumn Term
Welcome to Year 3
We have another exciting year planned in Year 3. This term we will look at Rocks in science and Romans in History. We will find out about the Romans and how they lived, as well as investigating different types of rocks. Our residential camping trip to Perlethorpe will be taking place on Thursday 12th September. We can't wait! We will also be having our Roman day in school which is always a fun day of dressing as a Roman and learning all about Roman food, games and artefacts.
Residential trip to Perlethorpe
The children had an absolutely amazing time on their residential at Perlethorpe. We were looked after expertly by Keith for our time away and took part in some brilliant and memorable activities. Over the two days the children built shelters, played initiative and team-bonding games, ate fish-and-chips, went on a bat-walk, toasted marshmallows around a camp-fire, spotted rare white deer, paddled and raced boats in the river, slept in a cabin with friends and... made memories and had a wonderful time.
