We believe that transition should be a process rather than an event to ensure that children can move smoothly and happily into a new setting. To ease transition we have to split the process into 3 steps:
We have arranged the following visits for your child to take part in:

Wednesday 5th July | 10.45-11.15 a.m. OR 2.00-2.30 p.m. | Please buzz at the school gate. The office staff will come to meet you. Parents are welcome to stay on site and will be directed to a room/outdoor area where they can wait. |
Friday 7th July | 10.45-11.15 a.m. OR 2.00-2.30 p.m. | |
Tuesday 11th July | 10.45-11.15 a.m. OR 2.00-2.30 p.m. |
During these sessions your child will have the opportunity to meet some of the other children who will be in their class and get to know the staff that will be working with them in September. These sessions are vital for your child; they allow your child to gradually adjust to their new environment so that they feel comfortable and confident when they start in September. Please try bring your child to one of the sessions on each day.
