Yesterday we took part in the county finals of the Quadkids athletics event. We had five boys and five girls who each had to take part in the following events:

50m 

400m 

Standing Long Jump 

Javelin Throw

The children performed brilliantly in all of their events, especially in the 400m which was a big challenge for them at the end of the afternoon. I am delighted to announce that we were the runners up out of the 7 districts that took part just behind the leading school from Nottingham City. This is a fantastic achievement and something the children should be very proud of.
