To finish off our Ancient Egyptian topic, Year 4 have been designing and making shadufs. 

The Ancient Egyptians used a shaduf to lift water from the Nile by using the large pole, a weight and a bucket balanced on the crossbeam.

Year 4 have enjoyed using their DT skills especially the saw!
