You can send your ballot forms in via your child if you can't get in, staff won't open them and will put them in for you. Remember you have two votes to elect two governors. • Mrs Beckett's Royal Invite

    Fri 13 Dec 2013 Head
Mrs Beckett and I go all over the country briefing potential new academies about how to go about it and why it is a good thing to do. It is well paid and the money goes into the school budget, between us we raised £8,000 extra to spend on the school this year. Mr Eveleigh talks to the heads and teachers but Mrs Beckett talks to the secretaries and finance officers. This year she did two presentations for the Department of Education to audiences of over 500 people in London; they were so impressed they had her invited to the Queen's garden party. We are so proud of her!
