My name is Louise McGillian. I am married with 2 grown up sons and 1 grandson.
I grew up and went to school in Newark.
At 18 I left to embark on my Registered Nurse Training in 1985 to 1988 at Northwick Park hospital, where I qualified, and then worked for a time, in London.
Following this, I took some time out to travel the world which was an education in itself.
I returned to Newark in 1992 and have continued to work as a nurse in varying roles within the community, hospice and now my current role of a Community Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Special pallative Care (SPC).
My interests are travel, nature, reading, theatre, cinema, walking and spending time with family and friends.
It is a true privilege to be part of Barnby Road Academy.
