Please can parents/carers (and siblings) ensure that they do not arrive too early and stand well back from the classrooms at the end of the day, when picking up. This is especially important outside Years 1 and 2; we ask that you stand well back from the benches, and brick/soft flooring to give teachers room to dismiss the children safely. The children are also still finishing their learning and getting ready for home time at this time. It can be very distracting and intimidating for the younger children if parents/carers are right near the windows and doors, or younger siblings are coming up to the door/leaning against the glass. We appreciate your support with this.
