Dear parents and carers,
We would like to invite you to see our 2021 Christmas Concert tomorrow morning from 10am.
Regretfully, we are unable to welcome families to the ECC as we normally do, but you will be able to watch the children singing and performing LIVE by clicking on the link below. If you are unable to attend tomorrow morning you will still be able to “catch up” later.
Happy Christmas from all at Barnby Road.

The Senior choir will be singing a few Christmas songs on the front playground from 2:45pm-3:00pm today.
This week the Reception children have been on their first trip to the Christmas Tree Festival at the Parish Church in Newark. The children impressed us with their sensible walking to the church and thoroughly enjoyed looking at the Christmas trees and how they were decorated. The Barnby Road Christmas tree was of course, one of their favourites as well as the Elf Christmas tree. We walked back through Newark Market Place and spotted the giant Christmas Tree in the middle of the square. The children were mesmerised and couldn’t believe how tall it was compared to themselves and the teachers. On our way back to school, we posted our class letter to Santa. We can’t wait to hear Santa’s response! Take a look at our pictures below.
Congratulations to this week's stars of the week!

Thank you for all of your support with non-uniform day today, and our Christmas raffle. We have made an impressive £1680.49 which will all go back into giving the children extra treats and resources. Well done Barnby!
Today we took some Year 5 representatives to help decorate our Christmas Tree at Newark Parish Church. It is looking tree-mendous! Do try and go and have a look when the festival opens. Please see the attached leaflet for details.
