  • Beginning of the year reminders

    Mon 21 Sep 2020

Now that the children have settled into school and are familiar with their new routines, here are a few beginning of the year reminders:

    - Only stud earrings should be worn. These MUST be taken out (not covered) for children to take part in PE. If children cannot take their own earrings out, they should not be wearing earrings on their PE days.

    - School uniform - please make sure children are wearing the correct uniform and shoes for school.

    - Long hair should be tied back for both girls and boys. Extreme hair styles are not acceptable.

    - Reading – our expectation is for children to read three times a week at home, as a minimum. The more they read, the better they get!

    Thank you

  • Reminders about drop off/pick up

    Tue 15 Sep 2020

Thank you to those of you who have been patient and compliant since the return to school. Your understanding of our new way of working is very much appreciated. We feel things are running very smoothly now at drop off and collection times but could still be further improved.

    Just a few reminders:-

TIMINGS ⏰ - Continue to stick to your timings. When you arrive too early it can cause unnecessary congestion and means that the paths around the school become too busy and could mean children stepping into the road. We can avoid this by arriving at the correct time.

JUST ONE PARENT 🙋🏼‍♀️- To minimise the amount of people on or around the school grounds we ask that only ONE parent/grown up drops off/collects their children.

PLAY EQUIPMENT 👭👬- Please keep little ones and your own children with you whilst on school grounds. At the moment we cannot allow them to play on any play equipment due to potential cross contamination.

    LEAVE QUICKLY 👋
Once you have dropped off and collected your child, please leave the school site and surrounding area as quickly as possible to allow more space for all children to come into school and leave school safely.

    SOCIAL DISTANCING 🧍‍♂️↔️🧍‍♀️
Please ensure you are socially distancing both on the school site and in the immediate vicinity. We are aware it will take a few minutes for each year group to enter/exit the site so please stand back and wait/queue in a socially distanced manner.

Many thanks for your continued support. We will continue to review our procedures to keep everyone as safe as possible. Thank you
