Hi Parents and carers,
We wanted to share with you the following resource with tips for dealing with separation anxiety. This is a very common problem at the moment and something that parents are frequently asking for support with. Many of you may have increased anxiety with the return of the children to school next week.
Hope this leaflet will be useful:

In light of the recent government announcement the school will be closed tomorrow. We will be using the time to plan our vulnerable/critical worker offer and home learning provision. We will send out a critical worker form in the morning and will identify our vulnerable groups and notify parents/carers of the school provision available to them. We are sorry for any disruption this has caused and will work very hard to ensure all children are catered for appropriately over the next few weeks. If any parents/carers who are critical workers are really struggling for childcare tomorrow, we will provide a childcare facility for those children. Can you please contact us on the following email address if this is required:

We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas with your family.
We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday 4th January. The government announcement today will not affect our school and we will be open as usual.
We ask that you continue to follow all government guidance and ensure you are socially distancing on the school site at all times.
We wish you all a happy new year.
