Newark Christmas Tree Festival
Fri 06 Dec 2024Yesterday afternoon, we took Y6 pupils Tyrese, Ella-Rose, Jamie, and Mia to decorate our Barnby Road Christmas Tree at the Butter Market in town. Thank you to all our pupils who took the time with their families to make wonderful decorations based on the theme of ‘Arctic and Winter Animals’ – they are wonderful! The Tree Festival closes at 4pm on Sunday, 15th December, so get yourselves down there before then to see for yourselves.

Community Fundraising & Children in Need 2024
Tue 19 Nov 2024We all had a fantastic day last Friday when the children (and teachers) came to school in their pyjamas, took part in a bring-and-buy sale, and sold cakes to raise money for our Community Fund and Children in Need.
This pupil council-organised event raised an incredible £1,174.30 – our highest total ever! A huge thank you to everyone who supported this great cause.

Thu 14 Nov 2024Today, BBC Radio Nottingham interviewed two of our Year 6 Pupil Councillors, Albi and Emily, as they talked about how and why they (and the rest of the council) had planned our Children in Need activities.
