• Parents Evening Appointments

  We have now set up our parents' evening system. You should have received an email to book your appointment. If you have not received this, please come in to the school office on Monday, or ring us on 01636 683900. We will be able to book your appointment for you and ensure we have your email address for future parents' evenings. We do anticipate a few teething problems; we appreciate your patience and understanding with this.

• Year 4 Indoor athletics

  A massive well done to our children from year 4 who represented the school in the district indoor athletics finals last night at Joseph Whittaker school. They all performed brilliantly and this resulted in us finishing in second place out of the nine teams who took part. Great job everyone!

  Thank you to all the KS1 parents/carers who came to share stories with their children this morning. It was lovely to have such an amazing turn out! We intend to have a 'Family Reading' session every half term to encourage a love of reading in our children.

  KS1 classes will be having a 'family reading' session to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 7th March 8.55 - 9.20am. Parents/carers/grandparents are invited to come in and 'share a story' with the children to help promote a love of reading. Use the books in school or why not bring in a favourite story from your childhood or maybe a book that is special to your child. We look forward to seeing lots of you there! 📙

• Fairy Tale Day in Tigers

  The Tigers' class had a great time on Fairy Tale Day. In the morning we made wands, dragons, crowns and little pig cakes. Then in the afternoon we had a Fairy Tale Ball and some Fairy Tale games. • Year 4 Sportshall athletics Newark winners

  Well done to the amazing year 4 Indoor athletics team who were crowned Newark champions at the event at Newark Academy yesterday evening. They were all brilliant and demonstrated great determination. Next stop the District finals!

• Swimming Gala

  Big congratulations to all our swimmers in this mornings gala. We did extremely well and came 3rd overall.

• Runners up in district sportshall athletics

  A massive well done to the Year 5 & 6 Sportshall athletics team who were runners up in the Newark & District finals yesterday afternoon. They were just edged out by a very strong Lowes Wong team by 2 points. All of the children were fantastic and produced some amazing performances. They were especially strong in the field events.
