  A massive well done to our Netball team who have managed to win all of their league fixtures this season and secure the title of league champions to add to the Autumn Tournament success earlier this year. Great job all involved.

• Musical Achievements!

  We had some more musical achievements today at The Wolfit Choir competition. Our boys choir achieved joint third place 🥉our senior choir achieved joint second place 🥈and our chamber choir won the competition in first place! 🥇A huge congratulations to all of the children and staff involved! 🏆🎶

• Young Musician of the Year

  We are so proud of all of the children who took part in The Young Musician competition this evening. All of the children played brilliantly and were a delight to watch. 

   

  We are also very proud to announce that the children from Barnby Road won 4 out of 5 sections in the competition - Amelie won the Strings section, Joe won the Brass section, Jesi won the Piano section and Maggie not only won the Woodwind section, but was also awarded Newark Young Musician of the Year! A huge congratulations to all of the children and to to the orchestra, string trio and choirs who performed throughout the evening. What an amazing night of music! 🎶

• Book Fair

  The travelling book fair will arrive at school tomorrow (Thursday 21st March). This will be open for sales every school night, 3.30-4.15pm until next Wednesday 27th March. World Book Day vouchers are not accepted at the book fair. 

• Sponsored Read

  Our sponsored read during World Book week has managed to raise a massive £1041.80. Thank you so much to all parents, carers and children who took part - you are all reading superstars! This sponsored read was in collaboration with Usbourne books who will now gives us free commission on top of our total. This means we have £1666 to spend on books! This is a huge amount and will boost our current resources considerably.
